You would own the parts of an MDM engagement that determine whether it succeeds: the data model, the match strategy, and the conversations with the business about which system is authoritative for what.
This is a consulting role, not a configuration role. You will be in front of clients, and your judgement will reach them without being filtered through three layers of review.
What you will do
- Design entity, relationship and graph models in Reltio (L3 configuration)
- Define and tune match rules, tokenization and merge/unmerge behaviour against labelled samples
- Configure survivorship and golden-record rules at attribute level
- Design stewardship workflow, DCR handling and steward capacity thresholds
- Lead workshops with business owners to agree trust hierarchy and data ownership
- Plan initial load, delta strategy and safe reprocessing
- Review and rescue implementations already in flight
What we are looking for
- Hands-on Reltio implementation experience across multiple engagements
- Deep understanding of match and merge mechanics, and why precision matters more than recall in MDM
- Experience designing survivorship rules and defending them to business stakeholders
- Comfort working directly with client stakeholders, including where the answer is unwelcome
- Working knowledge of at least one other MDM platform, ideally Informatica
- Clear written communication — our deliverables are read by people who were not in the room
